alex says, "darwin's dead," and everyone looks at her like she's broken, like it's her who lit up from the inside and then shattered

she thinks she will leave, after this is done. either erik or alex will kill sebastian shaw and darwin's death will be-- dealt with-- and alex will run away and be her own person.

raven says, "i can look like anyone, you know." her hair's falling over her shoulder and her gaze is calm, grey.

alex says, "you'd be an awesome criminal." she means it: raven is smart, incredibly observant, and convenient of mutation. if alex was still working in illegal enterprise and with partners, she'd be on raven's team in a heartbeat.

raven's laugh is bright, careful. "future career path, i think. waitressing's a little too slow after this." she takes a hesitant step forward.

alex tucks her fingers in her pockets, keeps her eyes level and locked on raven's. "you know, nobody else will ever look like you."

"thanks," raven says, slowly, and runs her fingers through her hair. her mouth is hesitant, careful on alex's.

:D yeah i think i didn't consider it before (though i adore them as bros) because i see alex (whatever gender) as pretty much gay? so when it's alexandra she's down with dating raven, but as alex there's you know. that issue. thank you! :)
