It did feel a little awkward, though: I haven't read your other stuff but I want to know how Saphira died in your fanon, how Brom was able to even talk to Morzan afterwards without stabbing out his throat.
And I hope you don't mind that I'm poking at your fic! It's only that aside from my RL friend, gold_bluepoint, I've never met a fan/Anti/reader who has the same sort of obsession that I do. XDDD Please tell me if I'm being annoying.

>>because he was totally in love with Morzan I DON'T CARE WHAT CANON SAYS ABOUT BROTHERLINESS
YES. YES AND YES. There was so NOTHING about "brotherliness" in Eldest, either, okay. I remember Oromis talking about "the depth of Brom's affection for [Morzan]" and I remember giggling my fool head off. IT WAS LOVE, DAMMIT.
Also I do feel Brom may be the biggest chunk of wasted potential. I wonder if CP ever realized how fucking awesome that backstory was? I feel like he's starting to.
ARGH longer comment later because I SO have more to say. XDDD

Hi, Pot; my name is Kettle. I think we may have a few things in common. XD
I can sympathize with the desire to make Morzan (or any villain) a sympathetic character, one with good motives. Mine just...kind of isn't. His dragon hatched for him when he was younger than he ought to have been, and the two of them build each other up in the worst ways. He's a sociopath: he doesn't hate anyone, but he finds it very easy (and entertaining, a lot of the time) to hurt people.
ANYWAY this is totally not the place for me to blargh about my personal fanon, SO, back to yours. XDDD
>>-The reason it feels awkward is because I suck and basically wanted to shoehorn in this whole conversation that I really wanted to write, ever since we learned that the dragons forgot their names. (Because Galbatorix is pretty freaking smart, like he wouldn't figure that out before it happened!)I totally know that feeling, and it's still a good conversation, so ( ... )
