Battle of the phones

I'm amazed of how far cell phones have come. The very first time I used a cellular phone was probably around the age of 4. I vaguely remember sitting in my dad's car, and him talking on this Centel-serviced car phone from time to time. One night he handed me the phone, and my mom was on the other end. Even with me being such a little guy, I thought ( Read more... )

I love my Android phone. I bash iPhones.
I know people who love their iPhones and bash my Android phone.
What only matters in the end is what works best for you, and what you're happy with :)

Ditto..it's all in how you use it, and what will work for you :) Hehe smartphone drama, how geeky would that be??

Smart phones are now devices that give you status and make you look cool with your friends and let you go to a restaurant or a bar and chat and tweet instead of, God forbid... have a conversation.

There are some smart phones out there that are so advanced that you can even make phone calls!

I hope you will choose the best option for you.

Hehe thanks! It's sad to see how much smartphones are used to portray an "image". There's even certain cases that will protect the whole phone except for the logo, since apparently some want to show off. Ridiculous.

But yeah..for it to be a phone..it needs to be able to do one thing: phone calls! lol

That pretty much sounds right on between the two OS'es. They both have their really strong points and bad points. Both have potential to go a long ways, especially Android. It's really picking up momentum! It will be interesting to see what phones will be like a few years from now, since what we have now would be obsolete :\

Exactly! These phones go outdated so quickly - more-so on the Android side. One week you have the latest and greatest, and the next week you might as well carry around the old brick phone.

Well...you could always jailbreak of course ;-)

Well, some could say that Android is all hype..but a friend of mine said to get a good quality device if I were to go Android - like the Incredible, Evo, and Droid. Phones go outdated as fast as computers, so it's hard to keep up! Just read all of the reviews, ask other users, try out some of the phones, and make your decision from there. Try not to let anyone push you towards anything else! lol

Ugh, I hate it when reps try to persuade you to get one thing, when you're convinced that another thing will work just fine. Maybe they were trying to clear their stock of EnV's lol

Hopefully that doesn't happen again, otherwise just walk out and go to some other store. Then they might cooperate ^^
