…not another one…damnit…

Don’t cry. It’s just my arm; the rest of me is fine… I can see one of the cafes very well from here. I will go inside for now…

[OOC: She’s near Café Juliet, just across the street from it and leaning against a streetlight to take a quick breather. Feel free to see her and/or turn this into comment-spam, if you’d like to do that instead of just journal.]

[Voice Post] Blood loss and exhaustion is bad for thinking clearly... electronicly January 8 2008, 19:37:11 UTC
…I think that’s the one across the street from me, if I’m in the part of the City I’m fairly sure I’m in. Waverly… are you ok?

*background noise of snow crunching as she walks*

The others… my duty… I still need to save them…

I am going now…I’m already almost to the café that I know is used as a safehouse; it’s just a few more steps from here… I’ll be inside for I don’t know how long that depends on how things go inside…

Are you ok, Mitsuhide? Please be okay…

Inside now… Ok, I’m staying… I’ll stay right here until someone- preferably you since you’ve said the most times to stay- comes for me…

Cruel of them… better angry than mentioning being in pain… Don’t let them get away! …stop them; there’s too many already in the city…

She's in the cafe already, ne? :3 foxy_physician January 8 2008, 23:19:23 UTC
Amanda-san!

What's happened? You're injured--Let me look at that!

Yes. :) electronicly January 8 2008, 23:26:46 UTC
Megumi…? Thank you…

It’s not very big… but messy. It hurts. It was from yesterday when I was escorting medical supplies and nurses to a safehouse… I managed to fend them off anyway. It wasn’t this bad… until today; I must have overdone it while trying to move the wounded…

*obediently holds out her right arm. The wound is wrapped by a bloody cloth, and underneath is a nasty gash. There is other blood on her from when she using her body to prop up the injured who could walk along the way, but no other wounds aside from a few scattered bruises*

…most of the blood isn’t mine… it feels disgusting…

Would you like some sutures on her or would you prefer that she just be bandaged? :3 foxy_physician January 8 2008, 23:35:15 UTC
You've sustained this for a day? It's a good thing you were able to staunch the blood . . .

[Megumi directs her towards a waiting, empty bed. She unravels the cloth covering the wound, taking care not to jar the arm, slowly peeling off the patches of the makeshift bandage that had adhered to the wound.]

So signs of infection thus far . . . Good . . .

Sutures would be probably be best. electronicly January 8 2008, 23:44:23 UTC
…I had to learn how to stop wounds from bleeding as part of my training… but that and the basics of stabilization is all the medical knowledge I have… I had to save the others first… It’s my duty to save them before me. Too many others are worse...

*Exhaustion, stress, and pain weren’t good for thinking completely clearly, though she does follow any directions and guidance given. She does try to keep the arm still, but she’s still somewhat tense*

…that’s good…
