Would anyone who has been on the beach today and noticed anything- no matter how minute- out of the ordinary or anyone acting strangely, especially if carrying a box shaped object of some sort please come forward?

Who or what do you believe may be responsible for this?

If I tell you more it's not going to stop you from going after him.

…whoever did this needs to be taken off the streets before anyone else ends up in boxes. There is behind the scenes work as well as working openly that can be done, so I could see if I could be assigned to work purely in the forensics lab during the investigation. Would that be a fair compromise since it would be much harder to notice my involvement from outside the police force?

I have heard from another member of the police force that this may be the work of “X.” This person seems rather insistent in both Kira’s entry and mine, from what I can see, that the police do not become involved.
I can recreate the scene from memory if needed, but currently my hands are full bringing the discovered box to the forensics labs for the team to analyze. Of course, I will be leaving a sample of my fingerprints for the file since without gloves it would be impossible for me to avoid leaving any and I would rather give a sample now than risk confusion as to why there are multiple sets of prints.
As of now, I’m afraid that is all I know.

[OOC: Since I’m waaaaaay late due to RL eating me alive earlier today, should we just assume the meeting? She’ll be asking mostly if anything seemed off before Kisara disappeared, if anything suspicious was noticed, and if Lacus knew of anyone who would want to kill people that way.]

…let’s get going, if you really want to. Any preference or just wherever is found first?

[ooc: So, they getting smashed or being responsible and stopping before full drunkenness?]

[OOC: Amanda’s not going to get 100% smashed, more like 90% since she isn’t quite willing to drink to the point she can’t walk straight. Though there will be semi-coherent muttering along the lines of “red goo in a box… and I touched the box…” occasionally.]
