Would anyone who has been on the beach today and noticed anything- no matter how minute- out of the ordinary or anyone acting strangely, especially if carrying a box shaped object of some sort please come forward?
Secondly, has anyone compiled a missing persons list or know of anyone who is missing? If so, I would like to know which citizens are ( Read more... )

You shouldn't be investigating this...you...you really don't know what you're dealing with!

Why should I not…? I’m afraid it is my duty to investigate this case unless I am assigned elsewhere or told to stay away by my superiors, so I will need a rather through explanation as to why not.

Who or what do you believe may be responsible for this?

You should stay away...you can't understand what he did the last time he was cornered by the authorities. If you want to be invisible, you can't leave any evidence, and that includes people...

If I tell you more it's not going to stop you from going after him.

Hm… want to be invisible to whom? Do you mean invisible in general or invisible in the sense of committing the “perfect” crime?

…whoever did this needs to be taken off the streets before anyone else ends up in boxes. There is behind the scenes work as well as working openly that can be done, so I could see if I could be assigned to work purely in the forensics lab during the investigation. Would that be a fair compromise since it would be much harder to notice my involvement from outside the police force?

A box on the beach filled with blood was found by this man who was called Kira by one of the other commenters on his network post. Kira states he had not seen unusual recently, does not know exactly when the box was left, and that Lacus and Kisara who would usually be in the area did not have any enemies that he knew of.

I have heard from another member of the police force that this may be the work of “X.” This person seems rather insistent in both Kira’s entry and mine, from what I can see, that the police do not become involved.

I can recreate the scene from memory if needed, but currently my hands are full bringing the discovered box to the forensics labs for the team to analyze. Of course, I will be leaving a sample of my fingerprints for the file since without gloves it would be impossible for me to avoid leaving any and I would rather give a sample now than risk confusion as to why there are multiple sets of prints.

As of now, I’m afraid that is all I know.

The box murders have returned, hmm? The wardens must be alerted to catch the killer this time.

It fits the name, yes. It doesn’t seem likely for too much time to have passed yet, so they might be alertable before the trail becomes too irrevocably cold.

Please meet me at Cybernetics around one hour from now. My reasons for choosing that place are entirely practical, and the primary one that between the noise and that it would be during peak hours would make any attempt to overhear by anyone who was not meant to more difficult, though it would still be possible to hear each other.

[OOC: Since I’m waaaaaay late due to RL eating me alive earlier today, should we just assume the meeting? She’ll be asking mostly if anything seemed off before Kisara disappeared, if anything suspicious was noticed, and if Lacus knew of anyone who would want to kill people that way.]

I almost thought you’d say no, actually.

…let’s get going, if you really want to. Any preference or just wherever is found first?

I'm used to rather high class drinks, but at this point, anything will do.

[ooc: So, they getting smashed or being responsible and stopping before full drunkenness?]

Alright, let’s see what we can find. I’ve not drank before, so…

[OOC: Amanda’s not going to get 100% smashed, more like 90% since she isn’t quite willing to drink to the point she can’t walk straight. Though there will be semi-coherent muttering along the lines of “red goo in a box… and I touched the box…” occasionally.]
