I would trade nothing, for I would rather not be immortal.

"Forever" is so vague. Humans live a hundred years, give or take. To people who count their lives by decades, is there much of a difference between living a thousand years and living "forever?"

I don't think I'd want to be immortal. Just live long enough to accomplish my goals.

Hmm...if I got back home tomorrow...a few years perhaps?

And you'd be content to die after that?

As long as I can keep attaching body parts, I'm essentially immortal already.

As if you didn't know. You made the same deal, after all.

[Have Batou's deep, baritone chuckle.]

Luckily we have eternal youth, unlike Sibyl.

Someone who knows about mythology! Not that I've er, actually brought the subject up...but, still!

Immortality? ...I'm not sure if I would want it honestly...

I know some mythology from most of the major civilizations. I don't have access to my external memory aboard this ship, though. It limits my depth of knowledge rather badly.

...Oh.

Wait, External Memory...?

Data stored outside my brain, on the various nets.
