❄ The army's no match for NORA!

The sky had never looked so bright before. Sparkling stars reflected on a watery mirror... A soothing sight, a glorious scene. A view he had not seen in ages, and yet he had never forgotten; Bodhum would never leave his heart, no matter where he was. His fondest memories belonged here, along with his friends, his first experiences, his first ( Read more... )

This is the Guardian Corps, not PSICOM. We aren't branded--they aren't the enemy."And that makes you feel better at night? To tell yourself that? Well I don't buy it ( ... )

[Y-you went to bed. /sob. My night just isn't the same without tagging you a few times. Also, fal'Cie related how? Post on the plotting thread so we don't clutter this area. Or better yet, come back on AIM even though you're asleep and we can discuss it there~!]

'Never needed to be PSICOM to push her away.'

The tension in the hand on her gun in an instant spread throughout the rest of her body. Lightning gritted her teeth, an inch of civilization from baring them in her anger. She didn't want to hit him. This was something else, something far more furious than even a punch to the face.

"I. Loved. Her," she snarled, her voice just low enough that it couldn't be overheard by anyone but Snow. But whether or not they could hear what she was saying, they could see the unsoldierly way she was looking at him, glaring daggers at him ( ... )

At least when she was around you had standards. Now...

"And what have you done, Light?" he spat, trying to keep his voice down, but he couldn't believe what he was hearing. "You shunned me the second you realized Serah wasn't coming back. Don't even dare bring up standards when you've done your best to go against me."

She had been quick to dismiss their friendship, or even pretend it had never happened, and in his eyes it simply wasn't something that was acceptable. Friends were friends, no matter what, and they had such a strong common link, even more so now that they had saved the world together. She didn't seem to care, however, and it affected him more than he could even comprehend. If truth be told, it saddened him, quite literally.

You know I loved her."We should be going through this together," he shook his head, his heart heavy. "I loved her, too," his throat closed as he pronounced the words, and he looked down for a moment, seemingly absorbed in the contemplation of his feet. When he spoke again, his eyes closed, his ( ... )

'You shunned me the second you realized Serah wasn't coming back. Don't even dare bring up standards when you've done your best to go against me.' That wasn't true. She'd never tried to go against him, not directly. She'd tried to put distance between them, a cushion to soften the blows the memories he brought with him inflicted on her mind and heart. But it was no use trying to explain that to him... The only way something could make it through his thick skull was if it directly supported that Serah was alive and sitting around waiting for him to rescue her. Tch.

Friends were friends no matter what, but occasionally there were factors more influential than friendship. Mourning the loss of her sister was definitely one of them.

'We should be going through this together.' At this, she looked away in a form of defiance. This wasn't a battle or a rough patch in the journey that they could get through together. This was the loss of the girl she'd protected all her life. Cared for all her life. Killed the strongest enemies to bring back ( ... )

He didn't know if she would even responded to him at that point, seeing as he had lost it on her quite a few times, and she seemed adamant on trying to avoid looking at him for a long period of time. It actually surprised him when he heard the sound of her voice again -- he wasn't expecting her to accept his request, or to even consider it -- but he felt grateful, somehow, that she bothered to say something.

He knew she cared about Serah. He knew it was probably as hard for her as it was for him, if not worse. And she would probably give up everything she had, just to have her back momentarily. He would. But things weren't that easy.

I'm sorry. He wasn't sure what she was apologizing for exactly, but it made him feel guilty at once nonetheless. He couldn't remember ever being so harsh on anyone before, let alone his sister in law. It was like the slightest thing could trigger his anger lately, and he wasn't too proud of that. Snow didn't threaten. Snow didn't guilt trip, no. Not his friends. Snow saved and protected, encouraged and ( ... )
