The sky had never looked so bright before. Sparkling stars reflected on a watery mirror... A soothing sight, a glorious scene. A view he had not seen in ages, and yet he had never forgotten; Bodhum would never leave his heart, no matter where he was. His fondest memories belonged here, along with his friends, his first experiences, his first

"And that makes you feel better at night? To tell yourself that? Well I don't buy it!"
He noticed the other guard that Lightning had stopped from getting involved, and part of him felt relieved then; not for himself, but rather for the soldier. Of course, it wouldn't have helped his case to kill anyone, but he was far too angered to care. What kind of excuse was that? Sanctum was Sanctum in his eyes, and even though he knew deep down that she was right, his rebellious mind blinded him. Anything even remotely related to PSICOM was the enemy.
"Never needed to be PSICOM to push her away," he added, referring to her past birthday. "Never needed to--" his tone was threateningly increasing, but he stopped himself then, falling silent at once. Closing his eyes to take a deep breath, he took a few steps away from her and looked up at the sky, remembering the fireworks. It seemed so far away... If Serah was still out there, somewhere, she wouldn't have wanted him to fight with her sister.
Being a soldier didn't make her an enemy. Her beliefs could, and her actions, but somehow he couldn't really see that; it was hard for him to disassociate her from Sanctum, even though he knew she had gone through the same things he had.
"Forget it," he turned around to face her once more, his voice lower now. "You have fun with your little Sanctum friends," he emphasized on the last two words, making sure the soldiers around would hear him. "And while you do that, I'll go look for her."
It was one thing to give up on Serah, to want to believe there was nothing more they could do, because technically, she could be right. Joining Sanctum, however, was the last straw. This alone made him want to revive NORA, as it had been rather inactive since they'd come back. On the other hand, he didn't want to fight Lightning. He was mad, yes, but in his eyes, she was still Serah's sister, and he respected her for that, and for everything else that had awakened between them.
She, however, was keen on denying that anything at all had awakened.
[ooc; eventually I want him to ask her if she's seen anything fal'cie related and ultimately ask her if she wants to give him a hand since she's in a good position to do that. expecting her to refuse, of course]
