It's been a pretty decent week so far.

I bought these yesterday the second they arrived in my store. THIS is how ghetto the company I work for is.

The Decemberists.
I heard a song by them on the radio yesterday and had to dig for a pen while I was driving and scribble the name of the band on my grocery list.
I wish I could remember the name of the song so I could ask you if it was typical of their sound.

wow... thanks, friend. _radiance April 3 2005, 04:22:32 UTC
You know what's awesome? I used to have this friend Travis. And we hung out all the time. I kinda knew he liked me, but I wasn't interested in him like that and tried to make it clear that I just loved being his friend (and I adored being friends with this guy). We even used to joke about how anyone who still thought that I'd be interested even after me being up front could possibly have an extra chromosome laying around in their heads. I though being honest was a good thing. I wasn't trying to lead you on. And then I started working like 7 days a week and eventually ended up seeing someone from work, which is convenient because I'm never NOT working. And then, this kid Travis gets all emo as soon as I mention I'm seeing someone because it's now apparent that we'll never be together the way he wants. And then says, oh nevermind I'm fine ( ... )

If that's what you want to believe in your little messed up world, then that's fine, I don't care. You fucked me up in the head so badly with the little games you don't even realize you play, that I won't even attempt to get to know someone new for a very long time. Have fun with your "convenient" new guy.

Hell, I'm not feeling sorry for myself, in fact, I've been having the time of my life. I'm sorry things ended the way they did, but for the sake of my sanity, I finally smartened up and listened to YOUR friend, who told me to stop talking to you.
