It should've been considered a nice change of pace, but Castiel knew better. Upon reading the text with that plaintive 'please' tacked on the end, he knew something was wrong. Very wrong.

His second strange text in less than a week. This was becoming a trend.

Sighing to himself, Castiel slid his cellphone in his trenchcoat pocket, and glanced to the window. Dean wasn't far, he could sense it. He closed his eyes, and with a moment and a slight shift later, he was sitting in the Impala.

Castiel jerked when he was greeted with music blasting him in the face, and opened his eyes, frowning. This was a bit much. Even for Dean. He reached out to turn off the stereo, and looked to his left. 0ne good solid look was all it took. "... You don't look well." Cue the Much Deeper Frown.

"Don't do that."

Yes, that was Dean's standard response to Cas appearing out of nowhere. He also may have jumped twice as high as he normally does, but ... details. He shifted into more of a sitting position and adjusted his coat, before leaning back against the seat with a sigh.

"Ghost sickness." He paused, before looking at Cas with a look that could only be described as pathetic and pleading. And Dean Winchester didn't do pathetic and pleading. "Can you fix it?"

The pathetic and pleading look just made the situation that much more unsettling. Castiel did his best to shake it off, and studied Dean closer, trying to see his way to what was inside.

Within a few seconds, he was frowning again. And not just out of concern. "I can't remove this." He said finally, shaking his head. "It's similiar to ghost sickness, but it's not the same thing. Someone else did this."

"Oh. Oh, well that's just peachy." To say Dean was not pleased would be an understatement. He didn't want to spend the next three days scared out of his mind, culminating in a giant heart attack that would kill him.

Or maybe not.

"So ... because it's from something different, does that mean it's not going to kill me?"

Even though it felt like she'd been in El Dorado for ever, it was still a lot to get use to for Inara Serra. She really had nothing to do in the city, so she actually spent a lot of time exploring it.

It was that, or sit in the apartment and risk getting into some sort of confrontation with Mal - which was something she really didn't want.

Humming softly under her breath, she turned a corner and her eyes widened seeing a vehicle that could have only come from The Earth That Was. Enthralled by it, she stepped closer, her head swaying from side to side as she tried to get a good look at it.

Her eyebrows knitted together as she got closer, and actually heard the music that was coming out of it. Wow, extremely loud and... She wasn't really how else to describe it - certainly nothing she had heard before. Moving around toward the back, she cleared her throat as loud as she could not wanting to unnerve the man she was now approaching. "Hello."

((OOC: if this isn't cool, lemme know. I won't mind.))

[Totally fine! =D]

Sorry, Inara, but there's no way Dean isn't jumping today. The sudden appearance of someone else startled him, and he jerks up into a more alert position. Then a hesitant, possibly even sheepish smile. "Hi. Sorry."

Why did there have to be a hot chick, today of all days?

"Oh please, it should be me apologizing," Inara protested, looking a bit ashamed for scaring the life out of the poor man.

She offered him a warm smile and quickly motioned to the impala. "I was just admiring your vehicle. I've never seen one like this before."

Inara, master of changing the conversation to a less awkward topic.

Oh, his baby was definitely something he could talk about. He reached over to turn down the music, before smiling and running his hands over the steering wheel. "Yeah -- they don't make 'em like her anymore."

She often walked back to the mansion from the Sanctuary. Though, the loud blast of noise made her turn her head. Admittedly, Eye of the Tiger was hardly noise, but at first it sounded like it. Helen rolled her eyes and walked over to the Impala, which she assumed was the infamous Impala of Dean Winchester.

Helen raised her hand and knocked on the passenger side of the window.

Yes, Magnus. You would be right.

Dean jumped like a jack-in-the-box. He couldn't help it. Every nerve in his body was a little too frayed, and the sudden noise from where there shouldn't be. He glanced over, and relaxed visibly when it was someone he recognized. Then he turned down the music and gave a bit of a sheepish wave.

Helen returned the wave and made a circle in the air with her finger for him to roll down the window. Honestly, she wasn't expecting to see him so spooked.

He made another gesture, indicating that the door was open. It would probably be easier to roll down the window, but he really didn't feel like reaching that far at the moment, as odd as it was. Besides, it's easier to talk to someone sitting next to you than someone talking through the window.

Sam had heard the music blaring down the street as he was walking around. He had been so caught up on research that his eyes were starting to hurt. He saw Dean speed past and ran after him. Of course he couldn't keep up with the car, but he figured Dean would stop sometime and then he would catch up to him.

When he saw the Impala stopped up ahead, he ran over to the driver's side and leaned down to look at Dean through the window. "Dude? What are you doing?"

Dean will have Sam know that he was going exactly the speed limit. Possibly even lower. Flying? Hardly.

He jumped a bit when Sam's giant head suddenly appeared, and he ran a hand over his face with a groan. "Jesus, Sam. Isn't a guy allowed to rock out?"

Sam frowned and looked around the inside of the car and then back at Dean. The quizzical expression he had was very obvious. "This is rocking out?"

"Today? Yes." Dean sighed. "I was in that kind of mood."
