She often walked back to the mansion from the Sanctuary. Though, the loud blast of noise made her turn her head. Admittedly, Eye of the Tiger was hardly noise, but at first it sounded like it. Helen rolled her eyes and walked over to the Impala, which she assumed was the infamous Impala of Dean Winchester.
Helen raised her hand and knocked on the passenger side of the window.
Dean jumped like a jack-in-the-box. He couldn't help it. Every nerve in his body was a little too frayed, and the sudden noise from where there shouldn't be. He glanced over, and relaxed visibly when it was someone he recognized. Then he turned down the music and gave a bit of a sheepish wave.
Helen returned the wave and made a circle in the air with her finger for him to roll down the window. Honestly, she wasn't expecting to see him so spooked.
He made another gesture, indicating that the door was open. It would probably be easier to roll down the window, but he really didn't feel like reaching that far at the moment, as odd as it was. Besides, it's easier to talk to someone sitting next to you than someone talking through the window.
She smiled and opened the door, sitting down inside and pulling her legs in. She pulled the door shut before looking at him, crossing her ankles, and offering him an apologetic look. She hadn't meant to scare him.
"Heh, cute," he sighed with a bit of a dry smile, before leaning back in his car a little more. "Nah, this is a whole other breed of bullshit. Apparently the city decided it would be funny to give me ghost sickness. Again."
He had no idea if Magnus even knew what ghost sickness was, but on the off chance she did, she might catch just how much this sucks.
Her eyebrows raised at the term. "I'm assuming it is like being terrified of ghosts, with the possibility of making you ill?"
He was right, she had no idea what it was, but she was brilliant enough to make an educated guess based off the name. Either way it seemed to make him jumpy of everything and everyone.
"Not exactly," he sighed, before shifting and leaning back in the seat. "See, angry spirits manifest in different ways, depending on how they die. When a death is particularly ... traumatic ... they can manifest as a certain kind of spirit that inflicts fear on people similar to the ones who killed them, as an act of revenge. Basically it makes you scared of pretty much everything, hallucinate, the whole nine, until you're so terrified you have a heart attack and drop dead."
He sighed and gave a bit of a shrug. "Usually lasts about three days."
Her head tilted to the side as her eyebrows raised up slightly. "Well, you would think that if they are to terrify you out of revenge, it would last longer than three days. Then again, I'm hardly a vengeful spirit. Have you encountered anything like this in the city yet?"
She gestured outside. "I imagine that after the collapse of Rush, and several other events that most likely happened in the history of the city, there would be several restless and angry spirits."
"Well, the end game is to get you dead. After three days of being scared of everything, your heart just gives out." Dean shrugged. "And it's not a ghost. I've got a friend -- he checked me out, said it wasn't your normal case."
Helen raised her hand and knocked on the passenger side of the window.

Then, Helen leaned back in the worn seat of the Impala. "This is the car you spoke so fondly of then, I take it."
