The first post I ever made on livejournal was typed on the family computer as I watched the ball drop in New York City. So the new years really does make me automatically reflect on my relationship with livejournal and fandom

Fandom is clearly some sort of drug-like substance. It's time-consuming, mind-altering and can get really expensive.

Yes, expensive! I'm going to make another large comic book purchase, I think I may be down to 10-15 titles!

I'm at a point where if I walk into a comic book store, there are a few titles I have to pick up before I leave. But I am trying to stick to trades these days. Oh, comics.
