Hay hay look instead of saying to myself "Wow, Kaysha, you should really update your journal," I'm actually DOING it.

the Wall O' Men

And now I'm really sad I wont be going ;)

I for one would be very interested in hearing more about this new project when you can talk about it. Sounds interesting!

Have fun at AC and thanks for the man-butt! *sighs contently*

AWWWWWW, poo.

Where do you live? I wonder if I'll be at any other conventions near you.

The comic project isn't actually as interesting as it sounds - it's an educational piece geared towards a 1st-grade-ish readership, and is just now in the proposal stage, so I have no idea yet how much of my life it will eat up in the future. Still, despite the lack of more, umm, compelling subject matter (read: pretty men), it IS a lot of fun, and I hope I'll be able to share what I've done so far here.

It's nice to catch up with what you've been doing - congrats on the paid comic project. I'd be interested in hearing more about it, if you've got permission.

Lovely sketch too!

Thank you! The comic thing really isn't as interesting as it sounds - it's an educational piece aimed at 8-to-11-year-olds, and thus entirely lacking in truly compelling (read: pretty men) subject matter. Though I did think the young schoolteacher character was rather adorable until the editor requested I put a mustache on him. *grumbles* It IS exciting in the sense that it makes me feel very accomplished and proud of myself, though, so I hope I can get permission to share it here. ^^

I think its safe to say that we all anxiously await whatever tidbits from your project you can throw our way. :)

Have fun at ACEN! 11 hours? Poor Hakkai...

Heheh, well, you've heard about as much about it as anybody has. XD It's an educational piece aimed at a 1st-grade-ish readership, and is loosely about immigration and such, from the framework of a class of kids who tell how their families came to the US. Kinda like the Canterbury Tales in that respect.

Right now it's just in the proposal stage - I won't know if it'll eat up the rest of my life or not until it gets board approval (or not).

So, I mean, it's really not as riveting as it could be. I DO feel rather absurdly accomplished, though, and I hope I'll get permission to share some of what I've done so far.

ACEN.... will be an adventure, at least. I'll make sure Hakkai is well-fueled with caffeine. XDD

I actually asked about the project for the benefit of anyone else who might have wanted more details, but seeing how you answered the same request three times, I feel kinda bad. :P
