ACEN OR BUST!
Hay hay look instead of saying to myself "Wow, Kaysha, you should really update your journal," I'm actually DOING it.
Eeek, Anime Central is in four (4!) days! Oh god I should probably start packing. Sosososososo all you cool peeps, who else is going? If I'm not mistaken, I think thewriter0, jibii, sarenafair, and velvedere (durr, since we're making the 11-hour Roadtrip of Insanity together) will be there, but am I missing anybody else? I would dearly love to meet any of your lovely peoples whom I stalk here. :D I ought to be easy enough to find - I'll be in the Artist Alley, at the table with what has been dubbed the Wall O' Men. |D
And speaking of stalking, sorry to everybody that I've been so terribly absent the past couple months. Actually, I read my flist to an almost religious extent, I've just always been a non-commenter. So know that even if you don't hear from me, I do read everything you write, and I do care about it.
Lately, though, the biggest excuse I have for my slackerism is that I've been working like crazy on a paid comic project -- which, though admittedly cool, has been a lot more consuming than I expected, combined with the enormous learning curve that is the result of my complete lack of sequential art experience. More on that later if anyone's curious - once I have something to show for myself and permission to do so. ^^
And to make this post not-entirely-without-pretty, because I'm not deluding myself that anybody is actually reading my journal for my ineffable wisdom: here, have some man-butt. :D :D
