Take it one day at a time. It is a HUGE undertaking, but don't let yourself get overwhelmed by how long or how much. Burnout is easy.
And realize that some people who teach how to teach have no actual grasp on reality.
But seriously. Go for it. And post alot about music history and appreciation. I, for one, would study that. (and have, though it seems an eon ago)
