Kind of related to the post below... But a bit more self-centered.
So. I've been thinking. (Scary, I know. Don't worry, I wear a helmet.)
I think, when I go back to college (meaning the four-year university down the road), I'm going to learn how to become a teacher. I'd love to teach music history/appreciation, since it's a subject I can geek out about. (And having two weeks for Christmas vacation and three months for Summer vacation kinda rocks my socks too, not gonna lie.)
I don't have a time plan - meaning I'm not all "OK, gonna be enrolled and rearing to go by the fall semester" - simply because I have a feeling this is an undergoing not to be taken lightly. Need to poke around, do some research, find out what it all entails...
Advice? Anecdotes? Thoughts? Encouragement? Cautionary tale told out of love?
It's funny how you kind of throw caution to the wind when something happens that puts things in perspective. Of course, with me it's not so much as a throw as it's a timid little toss...
