Jeeps and Toyotas

Have you thought about the Honda Ridgeline? I know it's a truck, but my parents were die hard SUV drivers and they LOVE their Ridgeline. It's very roomy.

Alas, a Ridgeline is just out of our budget, but they ARE pretty! Thanks for the suggestion, just the same. :-)

Now, no pressure or anything, but since you all seem to be leaning in the direction of buying an SUV, have you considered getting a hybrid? *cough cough*

We've thought of it, certainly. The Toyota Highlander has a hybrid version, as does the Nissan Altima, and I am sure there are others out there, too. Right now, we're just in the "thinking about it" stage. A hybrid would be dandy, simply for all the gas it could save. Trouble is, they tend to be a bit expensive with the payments (at least in what we've looked at so far), but one might also save enough to make the payments more easy, too.

We're waiting for the economic incentive. Neil also gets a COLA in July. After those two things happen (provided our old car is still with us), we can then look seriously at a new set of wheels, so in the meantime, we're doing our homework.
