i've always been a super soaker filled with kool-aid kinda gal...but nerf rocket launchers are fun...I wonder if I could make one into a cross bow and use that in the SCA...hmmm..

I've sincerely considered bringing one to an event but I doubt we can jury rig it into a crossbow. Sigh...

Oh don't doubt. I'm sure that, if not a crossbow, then a lovely period gun would work. All it needs is some paint and duct tape....wait...my Atlantian is showing again, isn't it?

I was very amused when we were in the UK, walking through the national armory museum at the Tower of London, and came across all sorts of period guns. I mean, people used gun shields!

Not that I'm advocating the substitution of the N-Strike Unity Power System for a carefully research and painstakingly constructed period firearm...
