Died of massive heart damage due to invasive staph infection. Had 11 hour heart surgery, but could not sustain.

Brrrrrr!!! Came into work today and the AC had gone insane, it was 60 or even a bit cooler. Not a good thing when you're doing a test that has temperature issues. Spent far too much time this morning warming things up in vats of warm water. Not a good way to get reliable, consistent results. Took til about noon for it even to start warming up ( Read more... )

Blinding, blinding migraine today. Haven't had one this bad in quite a while. Even had the period of brain not quite functioning right that's a warning sign, though I didn't realize it. Happy birthday to lexcorp_hope!

OK, I officialy love Justice League Unlimited. Tonight's ep was deeply fun and cute, especially ( Spoilers )

Forgot to mention, in all the other excitement, I dyed my hair. Usually what I put in ends up just as highlights, mostly due to my very dark hair. This time, it ended up a lot redder than I expected. Here's a shot of it. Now that I'm used to it, I like it, but I spent two days going "yikes that's red!"
