very lovely. i think in my past life i must have been to new orleans because i drew that hotel in the french quarter off the top of my head for a magazine in high school. mark twain would be proud of you going to the mississippi river!!

Thanks! I have always been convinced that I lived in New Orleans in a past life because I have dreams about it where I know where things are and because I love jazz and my parents honeymooned there, so it only makes sense that I was floating around, saw them arguing about something silly, and decided they would be my parents;) Of course, I didn't actually know where anything was there, but it did feel very familiar to me, so I'm gonna stick to the idea. I am hoping I was an awesome black jazz man. Maybe we were pals!!

Also, I thought of Mark Twain and of Roxy when I was at the River. It was awesome.

I miss you. Do you see your bag in those pictures? It was very good to me on the plane. Everyone is jealous of it!! They all want it at work.
