[directions: take the first sentence from the first entry of each month of the past year in your journal and enjoy!]

January: In the year 2006 I resolve to:

Become an online stalker.

Maan. I already do that.

February: I wish I already had librarian authority and could dispose of people who were abusing my library.

March: GAH.

April: As I sat in the sunlight today, reading Juan Luis Vives's attack on all women who wear jewelry and makeup or read books, it hit me.

May:

June: To do today:

exercise
clean house
read
look into living
scrap book?
laundry
bank for Sarah

July: The Lake Mirror fireworks display already happened, today. I think I get that wrong every year.

August: Buy this for me! I know, I know. You're poor, too.

September: May I just say that tonight was spectacular, despite all that is wrong with the world and life in general? If I could get slightly intoxicated and sing Queen songs at the top of my lungs with the right people every morning, my life would be complete.

October: Can we just fast forward to December 10th, please?

November: I called the children's room in the library to ask them permission to take some photographs for a silly class assignment that's coming up, and the librarian knew who I was!

December: Down with Dr. Everhart! DOOOOOOOOWN!

Okay, those were sort of boring. Now for some New Orleans:

Trashy Diva Clothing. I do look pretty trashy in an icky way here. I also look like I'm raising the roof a little bit.

I look frightened on Bourbon St.

Walking down Bourbon St.

I was really in love with that church in the background and its frightening sculpture shadow.

Fun red lights.

An awesome, haunted looking school.

More shadow fun.

My first visit to the Mississippi

Jason and I sit on the river bank.

Jason looking silly.

Me looking blurry.

The maddening crowd.

It's like coffee and bagnets!

Purtiness in the French Quarter.

The mimosas that made me ill. You really should see the view from our perspective: this place was lovely.

How I spent the rest of the day.

Sorry that I don't have more interesting photos. There are some, but I don't have access to them yet! There is also some very interesting video that you must see.
