So yeah, this is what I've done over the last.... 20 days? Yeah. a little, and like the last post, the portraits are all of people in my Creative Writing class. I think they started to catch on by now, so I draw them when they're on the podium reading stories and can't focus on me. Muaha. But let's start off with the cover of my moleskine.

I made the silver background using silver ink and a fan brush. For the peacock, I did an outline with pen, painted certain details on the face silver, and used white gouache to highlight various parts. When the pen began to fade a bit, I painted over it with black paint, and smudged it towards the bottom where the peacock's body is highlighted.

And yeah, that's how I did it :D

I like the peacock! Especially the tail texture. And I love the portrait after Josephine--such personality and it really tells a mini-story.

The peacock is wonderfully done.
It's too bad that there are only 2 guys in your class though. Variety is the spice of life =D
Link as a pokemon trainer is just epic and cute. Really liked the idea of the heart story. Hope you finish it <3
