Yes, it's still hosting at an expensive fine dining restaurant I wouldn't normally be able to afford to eat at, but it's a job. And I have the opportunity to move from the host of the casual fine dining restaurant at the hotel to the "holy shit. you charge 100 bucks a plate?!" fine dining restaurant in a month if I impress the right people.

I do like Caroline. It's like they took the best of Cordelia and Harmony and mixed them together. She really grounds the show in the high school rather than the supernatural stuff (just watched the ep where she sets up the double date with Matt, Elena, and Stephan just to show Matt that he and Elena are over).

Yeah. I'll probably be getting into grad school by the skin of my teeth, so I don't expect to get a teaching position while I'm working on my master's, so waitressing it is for at least the next four years.

I live in one of the places they based Neptune from Veronica Mars on, so there's a lot of rich people and only fine dining to be had. I would kill to have an Applebees less than an hour's drive away.
