            One might think that friendliness is a good thing.  That everyone acting polite and helpful would be a wonderful thing.  Adrian thought otherwise.

The Canadians were definitely up to something.  He told Konnel so.  Konnel raised an eyebrow.  “An entire country, a frozen wasteland?  And what exactly are they up to?”
