I'd say you did VERY well. That's the setting I use! (I usually crank up the resistance a little but more or less that's the distance I cover.)

Does that machine also have a "Weight loss" program? Nothing implied, it's just that that one is a pre-set 30-minute workout with 4 minutes of hard work and 4 minutes of not-hard work. My trainer had me start with that one and I liked it very much because it helps with endurance.

Also, don't worry about the heart rate monitor. Those things are rarely accurate.

Well, I *do* desperately need to lose weight, so imply away. It does have a weight loss setting. I haven't tried it yet, but judging from the dots, it looks like it's 2minutes of not-hard-work and 4 minutes of hard work. It's the one I plan on trying next.

Must. Lose. Weight.

Also, don't worry about the heart rate monitor. Those things are rarely accurate.
So my heart won't a-splode? I'm very glad to hear that!!

Also, I love your icon-- is verra cute!!!

I'm a big fan of calorie counting to lose weight but exercise is good as it makes you healthier too (and increases metabolism).
