Since people want to vent, I'm making a separate post to keep it centralized. I would also like to state from the start, that as is the norm here, you don't have to agree with someone's comment, you can debate with them even, but you do have to respect them and allow them their opinion

It's a hot damn mess and I am really speechless at how awful it is. I did not expect that. It needs a turnaround ASAP, either scrap it all, have Zac run it, or get someone who is knowledgeable on how to do this sort of thing successfully because this is a bust.

edit: Before I get the jumped on for saying have Zac himself run it, I mean I would rather have him saying potentially stupid stuff and all that, then some person who obviously doesn't know what they're doing potentially ruin his reputation and misrepresent him.

i totally get you. i mean it is one thing to have zac trash his own rep, his life, his problem, etc. but to have someone else do it (and get paid doing it!), no thanks.

Yeah seriously. It's just plain lazy, unprofessional, and awful. I hope that person gets fired and someone who actually knows what they're doing replaces him/her.

the person running it runs other celeb/actor social presences and isn't as bad at those. so idk if they just don't know/get zac's fandom and can't adjust or if their style just fits those people more, or if they are controlled more, or if they just know those celebs better... or some combo, lol. but this is just awful.

This probably won't make a difference, but I don't mind whoever is running Zac's twitter to follow/RT fans. I mean the person running it clearly doesn't know Zac, at all, so that's why I'm cutting them some slack for following only the fans with Zac in the username, etc. I mean this person is clearly new to twitter and the Zac fandom, so they're not going to know who tweets everything about Zac versus the fans who just tweet about his career related stuff.

The only thing that I don't want is this person acting as if they are Zac when they're not and the RTing of the HSM related tweets.

Besides that, I'm not bothered by whoever runs Zac's twitter except that they need to get to know Zac better and get his input on it even though Zac doesn't want to run it.

Edit: I don't think it's all a mess. Like half the tweets that are TLO/promo related are fine.

This is the biggest sin. An official Zac site was supposed to shut down all the posers who were pretending to be him. Ironically, the official site is just another poser.

I was on my personal account when I saw the #FF to my website twitter and I was like 'aw so nice' then I went to my website account to retweet that and thank them when I saw the follow back. I got crazy when I saw that but 5 min later I realized zefroncom was not followed and for me that's stupid. I felt bad because I only have 3 years of website and it doesn't make sense to me when people follow my account but don't know the other sources that I love and follow.
Now everyone is asking me to mention them to Zac, following us because we are followed by Zac and I just can't deal with it, I didn't made a website to get more followers on twitter or to get mentions.. I support Zac for him and for what he means to me.
I think Zac should do something about this person who's updating his social networks because if it was me I would be pissed.

I answered some people replys but they started to be rude because I won't mention them to Zac so now my account is only to publicity Zac's work I won't answer anything anymore.

My timeline is now full of spam towards "him". They should of followed fan twitters that had sites, instead of random fans, or just follow none

that's a really good point re: spam that he is retwittering... it forces people who only care about his thoughts/doings to read all this other stuff. i mean it is nice of fans to say to him but i don't really care about that. i just want to hear from him.
