UPDATE: Warner Bros has been as stingy as any major on producing deals in recent years. But I've learned the studio has just given a first look 2-year deal to Zac Efron. The studio plans to buy pitches, spec scripts, and books for Efron and his still unformed company to develop as star vehicles.

Wow. That's huge. I hope they're going to be able to attract good directors and I do hope he doesn't just do star vehicles but also continues to do other films.

Look at you, Zac, getting first-look deals with a major.

It was obvious Warner Bros. has a hard on for him though negl. But that's fantastic on multiple levels; swear like he && Jason are gonna open up their own production company lol. But unlike every other Young Hollywood actor, he has the best chance at actually getting shit made by a major.

"Jumper Productions" would be good. Named for the Third Eye Blind song Zac was singing in the car that got the whole ball rolling. BUT, its already a production company.
