[It's raining and it's raining hard (the sound of the rain comes over clear on the Dreamberry)--Yukari peers out her window even as the feed clicks on, looking concerned. When she realizes, she fumbles with the Dreamberry, looking into it fully.]

I was just wondering. Does the rain look kinda weird to anyone else, or is it just me?

[Oh, an answer--but not one that has any answers. Still, that's not this girl's fault. She nods, looking out the window uncomfortably again.]

Well, yeah. I've never seen rain that was this color before. It almost looks kinda...black, doesn't it?

[It makes her uncomfortable as well. She thought perhaps there would at least be comfort in numbers. Ada nods back.]

Black rain... and there's just this bad feeling I have. I hope it's just nerves...

[Ah...she shrugs, looking out the window before returning her attention to the Dreamberry.]

I dunno...I mean, I have the same bad feeling. And no matter how you look at it, black rain can't mean anything good.

[Rise just frowns a little, looking out her own window. There's some muffled whimpering in the background as the dogs pad restlessly around the room.]

And it's been raining all day, too.

Yeah, I don't think it's rained so much since I got here. So this hasn't happened before?

Nothing like this at least. Sam and Noireau won't even sit still.

Not only is there the colour to consider, but the fact that this is considerably different from what the forecast shows... particularly when that forecast has always seemed consistent in the months that I've been here.

I'm pretty sure it's not. I mean, it's rained before and it wasn't like this. It's hard to tell with a place like this though.

Yeah, just a bit over a week ago. I'm used to strange places and this isn't the worst of it, trust me, so I really dunno what to expect.

[Lightning makes her uncomfortable in general, considering her overall weakness to electricity, but--]

I thought lightning was what caused thunder though. Maybe we just haven't been noticing the lightning?

O-oh, yeah, I mean. I was just--what if they don't have anyone to take care of them, ya know?

That's correct. Which is what makes it so strange that we haven't seen any. But, ah, you're probably right... we must just not be noticing it.

[Hard not to notice lightning for so long, but there was no other real explanation.

[Not convincing. At all. But she's just worried about the kitties since this rain was decidedly not normal.]

[She...gets the feeling that it's weird too, that they haven't seen any, but it's the only explanation, right? So she falls silent until the other brings up cats and well--]

This really isn't normal, is it? I was just wondering if they'd be okay. I mean, it's not like they have a place to go.
