First ever lolita purchases (Chess Story) - review and feedback? :)

Hello :) This is my first ever post in here since I only just bought items for my first ever lolita coord! I've been looking around for a while and decided to get a whole outfit from Taobao, so I thought i'd also make this a sort of review post.

For your first outfit, that's really good! I would get rid of the gloves though, since the lace looks pretty low-quality. The wig flatters your skintone very well in my opinion.

One thing I would suggest is possibly pink shoes instead, to bring out the pink details on the JSK (in the print and on the buttons), but the blue shoes work fine as well!

Thanks! I think the only thing holding me back from pink shoes is the thought of buying a matching bag as well XD

I would also ditch the gloves, even very high quality lace ones can look tacky for lolita (imo)

Overall, this is a great first coord! I love how you have all the elements, and it's really cool how the colour of the bag and shoes match so well :3

Adorable first coord! I think the gloves are super cute but I can see what others mean about the lace. Maybe when you have the money you could invest in a higher quality pair if you want to keep them in the coord?

you have amazing coordinating skills, it looks just like brand. I want the shoes as well now, lol. I don't understand others' opinions about the gloves, they are a very original touch. Angelic Pretty sells gloves like that, too.
