First ever lolita purchases (Chess Story) - review and feedback? :)
Hello :) This is my first ever post in here since I only just bought items for my first ever lolita coord! I've been looking around for a while and decided to get a whole outfit from Taobao, so I thought i'd also make this a sort of review post.
I used Yoybuy as my Taobao agent, as I've used them before with no problems and found them quick and reliable! Here's some pics of the unpacking :)

Chess Story set review:
Design 4/5
I think this is such a sweet dress and has a little organza overskirt, a big detachable bow in the dress fabric and the two blue satin bows are also detachable. The buttons to attach the waist ties are lovely crystal ones. The only thing I was a little disappointed in is the colour - it's a bit more washed out than I was hoping, but it's still a lovely print. I've since moved the overskirt to sit around the other way like this:
Which I think is much more flattering and cute!

The JSK, hairbow and cuffs altogether were $110USD (not including shipping) which I think is a very good price.

There are a few loose threads in the buttonholes and the fabric seems a little bit cheapish (but I have nothing to compare it to!)

I really love the print and design of this dress, I think with an good iron it'll look much better than these photos!
Now some pictures of me wearing the outfit (I haven't done my makeup here and this is just a random wig)! I'd love some feedback - I think i'll be buying some plain white tights instead and possibly getting some flat tea party shoes as these ones are beautiful but a bit too clunky. Maybe I should wear an a-line petticoat too??
