Sweetie Pie Seamstress for Hire! I know Lolitas have lots of ideas!

There are a lot of talented Lolita seamstresses out there, starting their own brands and coming up with new ideas.  But one thing that I love about Lolita is how unique and personalizable it is for the individual!  I love to design and sew and dress up in Lolita, but it got me to thinking: there are a lot of great designers/owners of brands ( Read more... )

Hello! Unless you contacted a moderator before posting this, please remove the link to your FB page. Selling and/or advertising for a business is not allowed on the main EGL community. If you would like to raise a discussion about your business model, you are welcome to do that here, but if you are interested in taking orders you must use egl_comm_sales instead.

Thanks for your quick compliance!

I'm sorry! I had seen others posting adverts for their brands here rather than on comm_sales since I don't take orders via livejournal at all so I assumed that this was the correct place to do it! No problem, I will remove the link absolutely. Posting in comm_sales would be the correct place to raise awareness of my serves then with a FB link?

Thank you!

Brands are often welcome to make announcements on EGL for the purpose of discussion, but may not post links to their stores or any sites through which they accept orders. Some exceptions can be made for new brands making one-time announcements but they MUST obtain prior approval from a moderator.

As for posting to the comm sales, yes, we highly encourage it! You should use the !AFC (available for commission) tag. One stipulation is that, in order to use the comm sales, you must be willing and able to accept orders through the community itself on LiveJournal. None of our communities allow the advertisement of solely outside services; if you only accept orders through Facebook, you will not be permitted to post. Be sure to check all of the rules over at the sales community though so you understand more about how it works!
