Goodness, you make it sound like glasses will change your entire appearance! In truth, it really won't change things that much. You'll be able to wear the same makeup (the glasses make it harder to see, but there isn't too much to be done about that) and basic black frames go with most anything. I wear Ray-Bans, and the wide black frames don't affect the overall look of my outfits at all. Just like with regular outfits, glasses are made to work with most any coords because they are a daily necessity

Haha, I just worry since I've never really looked good in ANY glasses until I spotted this pair at my brother's eye appointment. I was also under the impression that there are different ways of doing your eye makeup that work better with glasses~
I am actually terrified of poking myself in the eye with a sphere of plastic, and I was always a little envious of the people with glasses; I'm excited but also sad that my vision isn't perfect anymore XD
Thank you so much for the advice! I hope it all gets straightened out quickly so I can start experimenting with them and new looks. That co-ord looks adorable, and you're right, the glasses totally work!
No problem! I think the only advice I've heard about makeup with glasses is to focus on makeup that enlarges your eyes. I don't change mine between contacts and glasses, but I'm just lazy. xD I've heard that focusing on mascara that 'opens' your eyes or eyeshadow colors that enhance your eye color can help highlight your eyes and make them pop behind the frames

Momo_6548 is exactly right: they really won't change you very much :) I kinda love my glasses in any situation as while they don't change you they can change an outfit and that is kinda awesome!
As someone who wears glasses and makeup to uni most days: mascara is quite useful, as is eyeliner. But also try to play around with contours and blush as with your glasses you can get quite cool shadow effects that can be quite high fashion looking.
Picking new glasses is so fun :) Im all envy as i won't be going back in until sept!
I guess I never thought about it. My glasses look a little like the ones there. I need them to see and have my whole life so I never thought about how they relate to fashion. I guess the most important thing is that they look good on you. I do have contacts but I wear my glasses mostly. Do get a great concealer because any circles will look worse and the frames can cast a shadow. Also get your eyebrows done. In my opinion unruly brows and dark frames look like you are all eyebrow.
You can youtube up some good makeup tutorials. They are fun to try.
I have a really great pair of Ray-Bans that have a rosy pink on the inside. I love them. (I am however happy that I'm far sighted with astigmatism. I tend to wear my glasses when I'm in study/writing/reading mode.)
Also: Curl your eyelashes! I love my Shu Uemura curler. It makes all the difference. Mascara is KEY. You don't want it clumpy, but you do want your eyes to really stand out.
Eyelashes! Wouldn't have thought huge would be good, thank you~! I switch between a NYC mascara and the Revlon (or Covergirl or whoever makes it) Lash stiletto stuff, depending on how much BAM I want. I also have falsies that would probably work really well.
Is it just me, or are the big, square Ray-Bans REALLY in right now?
I've had my Ray-Bans for oh wow... 4 years now. They're a classic style. Another cute style are the more petite "horn rim" glasses like Lisa Loeb wore in the 90s.
For drugstore mascara I really really like the Covergirl Waterproof Lash Blast Fusion. (So it does the volume AND the length.)
Try it some day... wear JUST concealer, lip gloss and mascara. Mascara MAKES the face.
For your make up, you would want to define your brows and hide your dark circles more than without your glasses. You also have to know that your eye makeup will look toned down by 30% with glasses, so your should apply more makeup than you usually wear. You can find some good tutorials for makeup with glasses. I believe Michelle Phan did 2 or 3, and there is surely a lot more on Youtube.
Thanks so much! I have seen a couple floating through my stream, but I've never thought to watch them until now :3 I'll remember to keep my eyebrows in check.

B. I agree with momo_6548; glasses don't affect your style that much. I think those glasses will look just fine with your co-ords.
C. Those glasses are actually fairly similar to mine, minus the sparkly blue part. I wear classic sometimes too.

It makes my eyes really pop, so they aren't hidden by my glasses. Here's a pic of me wearing all that:
