I take it your Classical Puppets item didn't end up with the smell of cigarette smoke? When I got something from them, that was what happened. I was thinking of taking another chance and ordering from them again, so it kind of helps to see how other people's orders turned out.

It's too bad your petti didn't fit though :( Mine was perfect, but I guess some China brands just aren't used to some custom sizing.

No, mine doesn't smell like smoke at all. I think they were just trying to cut corners to make more money honestly. They probably just sent me one of their regular sized pettis and pocketed the custom sizing fee lol. I don't mind that much though since most of the other items were beautiful.

I also want to buy a Rose melody dress that has this shinny underskirt. I thought it looked cute in the stock photos...Is it that cheap looking? I can't really tell from the pictures. What material is the shiny fabric made of?

I'm not sure what the material is. It feels like tulle though.

Not sure honestly. I don't think it's chiffon but it might be organza.

I think the Rose Melody skirt is supposed to have that shiny fabric though, I think Octavekitten did a review quite a while ago noting the same issue. She asked the place she bought it at (qcute) and they said that's how the maker intended it, it's a matter of preference I suppose ^^;

I think EMS shipping is insured, but I'm not positive. I wrote a little review of Taobao Spree above (at the top of the page). Yes, that link is correct and yes, I use Google Translate. It doesn't work perfectly, but you can at least get the gist of what the page says. If you order custom oversize, you will be charged extra (the amount depends on what size you are and what company you're using, I believe). Taobao Spree will tell you what measurements they need and you just have to get someone to take those measurements for you and let TS know! =]
