I think this is my favorite part; don't ask me why.

...stealing scenes from Jared any chance he gets and waiting for him to notice. Then there’s Jared watching more closely every day, watching and learning to give it back. Then one day there’s something like a rhythm, and it really works, like, surprisingly well. And Jensen can relax.

And this is just hot beyond all reason:

Then Jared, this boy, this puppy, just picks him up, a cheek in each hand, and pulls him up and tight against his body. Jared’s eyes are dark and sharp now. Irresistible.

And Jensen’s breath is caught in his throat. “Can you hold this?”

Ramble-y and strange and interesting. I felt sort of like I was seeing the intimate side of their lives in soft-focus. I like the way Jensen's so jaded at the beginning, but by the end he's just barely starting to hope. Sad, but cool.

Thanks for letting me know what worked for you - I'm new to RPS and in a way it's so much more difficult and yet so much easier than regular slash. So this was probably kind of odd, but true to what I wanted to say I guess, for better or worse.

I hope to read more of your stuff too. My OTP is getting buried in fic, and I'm all mad for J2 at the moment but it's kind of breaking my heart, so SIGH double fandom fail on my part. But I know you're always doing interesting stuff.

I've never written J2, but I like reading it because it often is a bit less angsty than Sam/Dean, but then again, they have their own problems to deal with, sort of the inverse of Sam/Dean, i.e., the Winchesters are so isolated from society that who's going to know or care what they do in private, whereas everything the Js do gets scrutinized. But I digress.

But I know you're always doing interesting stuff.Well, that depends on who you are, I guess. *g* I write a lot of crossover slash between SPN and Sons of Anarchy, and have at least one more of those simmering in my brain, plus one more het/threesome crossover with Saving Grace. Crossovers, obviously, are mostly interesting if you're a fan of both shows

Very interesting! I tend to focus on the privacy thing too, because I love secrets mostly but also because I'm endlessly fascinated by the binds of celebrity. I tend to get all moody about Hollywood closets, but I guess that most J2 fics are happier than that?

Oh right! I remember you posted about having to write that roadie fic. I tried to think of bands to suggest, but I couldn't think of any! I thought it was a perfect prompt for you, but I forgot it was gen. Ack! I would totally have the same problem - I don't think I could write a fic without any slashy sexing. I mean, it would have to have a PLOT and stuff ;) And maybe even female characters ! I'd be lost. And I'm not sure that "write what you know" applies to slash, because it's never stopped us before ;)

Have you thought of a band yet? I wish you luck! It sounds like a fun story in any case.

Your grandmother sounds wise. It's nice that you get along with her and you can keep each other company. I do not understand these European shows about eating dinner ;) We have cooking shows but when the food is ready to eat, the show ends. We have talk shows, but people don't eat during them. We have shows where people trade wives, but not dinner tables.

I'm not feeling very well today. Je suis desolee :( I haven't checked Tina's today either. Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow. See you then!

The people cook , prepare the table etc and the guests after give a note -I guess that's the term- and the one with the higher note win 1000 € . Generally they cook french food but sometimes it's african or morrocan , even once it was a girl who was from California but lived in France , because her husband was french . She even won ! She was cool . Sometimes , really , people cook very strangely

I like to cook! I've just gotten very out of practice. I make an awesome cherry pie :) Mmmm, let's cook desserts.

I'm starting to get sex scene bunnies and ideas for Dean/Cas and J2 fics both. I didn't think I could hold so many Jensen incarnations in my head at once. I was wrong!

I liked your post at Tina's today! Often, the things you bring up I can't go into there because I am all with the slashing and the gay and the board doesn't agree with me. But don't worry, it will make its way into fic :)
