Ah! The friending has worked.

I love stained glass having been brought up around a Romanesque cathedral and going to uni in a city with a Gothic one- that sort of thing tends to have lasting effects. :o)

Around 0c here (southeastern UK)- we just had our first snow of the Winter!

Yes!

My sister is a wonderful stained glass artist - I really didn't know that much about it (except it is a beautiful medium) before she started to do it but now I can really appreciate it!

I saw there was a lot of recent excitement about snow in the UK. In our southern states it is the same (a thrill when it snows) - and everything stops cause no one has snow tires or snow plows.

Snow's not uncommon here as we're a long way north, but we do seem to handle it incredibly badly!

What city are you in or near?

You can tell which county you are in around here by how well the snow has been taken care of. Some do a much better job than others.

Ha! when I read the words Yellow Crocus while scrolling down, I first thought you were going to show a picture you took of a crocus poking its head out of the snow.

It will be while before a real crocus comes up. I checked my files for photos of crocus and see they have come up as early as March 6th in other years.

Really lovely photo (thanks Earthmother for your contribution to it) and I like how you think of them as lace curtains. And 3F is cold!

Weird lj glitch. I hope it's only temporary!
