That looks like just the tips of the trees showing above the snow. I hope that is not really the case!

Good on you for sticking to your plan. Reading a book instead when needing a rest and enjoying it seems to be working out.

That would have been annoying how your partner tried to help you. Yes, his intentions might have been good, but his methods weren't! I'm glad that eventually you were able to be friends again.

Just some fallen branches but I thought it was neat how they all were the same height. ;-)

Yes, my first husband and I weren't very good for each other as partners. It's a wonder we lasted 9 years.

Well, congratulate yourself that it lasted that long!

Personally, I'd deck anyone who took a book out of my hands!

He wasn't the kind of guy to deck unless you wanted decked back. I never should have stayed as long as I did.

Love this tricky photo! It sure does give the illusion of looking like there's 20 feet of snow on the ground.

What drew me to this (besides the branches) was how all the snow looked so rippled, not smooth at all.

Yes, I noticed that, too.

Hey, I spent about two hours on the phone today with tech support from Verizon and got my e mail that I'd lost last year back and also my facebook stuff all cleared up, too. Really felt good about doing that.
