For about 3 or 4 days now I have been having all kinds of problems with LJ login. So all I can read are public entries. The first couple days it did let me use the iPod for posting and reading protected entries of others but now that is messed up too. But for some reason every once in a while it lets me slip through and I can post something. That ( Read more... )

It's been a bit slow the last few days. I hope nothing major happens again!

I'm glad your mum is still doing well. I know just how tiring it is to travel to a hospital every day. Do you have to drive far? I'm glad they are taking good care of her, but it will be so much easier for you (I hope) when she comes home.

Well, today I brought my laptop to the hospital and I'm logged in to LJ ok for now - so I hope it stays that way.

We live about a half an hour from the hospital. They (the nursing staff) don't have time to feed her or give her her drinks so Jill and I are here for that. They are taking good care of her though - all really nice nurses!

That's not right that they don't have time to give her food and drinks. Terrible! I'm glad you mum has people who love her to do those kind of things for her.

I've been having an ongoing on-again/off-again glitch with my comments from people not showing on the comment page (when LJ works at all). The problem comes and goes. It happened again for a moment this morning, but is OK presently. I noticed that the problem was OK on some peoples friends pages, but not in others... maybe it is because I have one of the S1 formats which is now obsolete (although usually works fine). I suspect LJ wants me to change to S2 so they can load me up with ads - a tried and true corporate stratagem. I think I will struggle on with what I have, thank you.

It's been ok now for me most the day so far so hopefully the problem is over. Not sure if I have S1 or S2 but I would have ads if I didn't have a paid account so I probably have S2. Even with LJ's problems I would still rather be here than facebook! I hope nothing happens to it permanently.
