Good luck with the new camera. I have a soft spot for Lumix - I have a little LX3 - they are known for their good (Leica) lenses.

I don't know why I thought you had a LX2, not a LX3 - but the photos you show (some taken with the Lumix) were a big influence in me wanting to get one. I love all your photos and try to figure out which are taken with the Lumix or the Nikon.

And as far which photos are taken on that camera as opposed to the Nikon D90, its fun to keep people guessing. My point is that in many situations, you can't tell the difference.

I love having a little space in my purse for my camera, too. I don't relish the idea of taking it in and out of a camera bag all the time. Although maybe I should for protection, but my purse is all soft inside and it travels well.

I'm happy for you, Mary Lou! Can't wait to see what you do with it . . . like the infrared lens.

I already did take an infrared photo so I know I can do it! But it wasn't very artistic - I can't wait to experiment more and get better.
