Seems I'm so BUSY lately. Busy being outside or something... Sunday we had Sunday dinner here so there was that to take up a lot of the day. Monday I hiked with Candy to see the Miller Farm waterfalls at Oil Creek. Not that much of a falls really, don't know why they call it that, but it is still a pretty spot. I love seeing the park you and Dave are creating. In a "perfect world" I would be there, too. The pictures are a wonderful substitute.

I'll have to check out that pickled garlic. I wonder . . . is that how dad fixed his garlic?

He took raw garlic, cleaned the husks off and put them in a jar. Then he poured boiling hot vinegar over them. That's it I think. Basically they were only blanched. He kept the jar in the fridge. He'd only make one jar at a time. They were very "bitey".

Yes, I wish very much we could have that Perfect World.

Is the pickled garlic soft, like, spreadable? How do you enjoy using it?

Love the mosaic trays. The blue one would be my preference but they're both lovely!

It's soft enough to be spreadable. They could be used in many ways. So far we are just eating them as they come from the jar.
