I don't think it's being a control freak to wonder how your animals are being taken care of when you're gone. Even if Sebastian is great and responsible, he doesn't love them the way you do, and they will sense that.

However, it's good to take trips anyway! And you and Dave will have a great time.

I think it's the usual pretrip jitters. Once we are on our way I bet it'll clear up. Just got to break free of this house and it's responsibilities!

I always have trouble with the lead-up to a big event or trip, too. It's the WAITING. Waiting is the worst. Once the thing is happening it's a relief haha.

Wow, what a CRAZY freak accident. I'll bet his friend feels horrible...but also if they'd already warned the guy....what can ya do.
