I have a story about wishbones. Growing up we had a neighbor who was very artistic especially when it came to home decor. One year she asked everyone she knew to keep all their wishbones all year and give them to her. She then spray-painted them gold and used them as ornaments on a white Christmas tree. It was beautiful!

I'm sorry that the locker hooking is causing you pain & numbness in your wrist. Doing a little bit at a time sounds like a good plan. The basket is really cute.

Wish bones seem very unique as a shape. That would be cool!

Thanks.

I remember pulling that and making a wish. I don't even know where it is in the turkey.

Not that I know that much about it, but I think it's the breast/collar bone.

I have been wanting to share this with you but keep forgetting.

Did you know there are lots of rock-painting groups on facebook?

Some of them are mandala-based, but you should see the other creative ways people paint them!

This group called "painting rocks!" is my favorite, at least one person in this group does a fantastic job of making rocks look like food (of course i WOULD love that haha)

Anyway just thought you might enjoy.

my mom saved the wishbone for us kids. as we got older, we figured out the trick. just hold onto your end and let the other person do the pulling. they'll break off the smaller piece and you end up holding the larger piece.
