Walked in the cemetery yesterday morning before the OA meeting. Came home, had lunch and then in the afternoon Dave wanted to do some shopping at Home Depot for a project he's working on so I went along. We brought the dogs and then hiked at the Beaver Creek property. Here's some cemetery pictures and woods pictures:( Read more... )

Chris's deer shanty would make a good treehouse for kids.

That's a good portrait of you.

Personally I would have made it a bit bigger. Big enough for a bed. Having a place to sleep in the woods would be a wonderful thing.

Thanks. I'm thinking it's helpful for me to see the real me in these photos more often. I'm still a little disappointed that I'm not thin (like I was when I was 40), like I imagine myself in my mind but I'm getting better at not being in denial anymore.

That is a pretty church.

Good pupper, helping his dad!

Fancy deer blind indeed. A little getaway in the woods :)

Great self-portrait!

Not a super fancy church. No stained glass images. Nice and simple.

Andy always wants to climb things. Like a mountain goat. :-)

Thanks.

That is a really nice self-portrait. I wonder who decided on that vine detail? It’s hard to imagine someone putting in that kind of detail anymore.

Thanks.

That carving is different than the usual. That's something I enjoy about these cemetery wanderings - comparing stones.

Yes. I saw the matching eagle to that one in a neighboring town. Twins.
