Sorry to hear that you have the misery of a cold to deal with on top of everything else. And hoping for you that your Covid test comes back negative.
The things you'd said earlier--about the sudden limitations that having a cast on your hand had imposed on your life--so reminded me of the time when I was bicycle commuting to my job as a roof truss designer and crashed, breaking my right hand which I needed to draw with. That and the months of P/T that followed.
It was challenging, for sure, but like you I adapted and firgured out work-arounds for many of the daily tasks I had to perform, both at home and at work.
Knowing how that is, my heart goes out to you and I wish you the very best in your journey towards recovery...
