I've been watching Get Back, about the Beatles just before their breakup. I'm seeing mixed reviews here on LJ about it but I am really enjoying it. Especially getting to watch them write their songs. It’s going to be negative. I was convinced I had it (even weird symptoms), and it was negative. So then you can just go on living your regular life!

I watched some of Get Back at Ben's not long ago. Wish I could see the rest but we don't get Disney. Maybe it'll stream somewhere else later (or I could join Disney for a month!) I was besotted with the Beatles from the beginning. I babysat for a family that got the New York Times and there were pictures and an article about them in the paper. I was so hooked. Don't really know why but maybe it was the longer hair? They came to Pittsburgh on their first U.S.tour and I was so mad at Mum because she wouldn't let me go because she had been in a huge crowd once and was afraid of the potential for crushing danger. I never forgave her! Well, I did, but I probably reminded her of that decision until the day she died! Who was my favorite? Ringo, at first - then George (and John after his very last album which I love still.)

Jules has Disney and I'm "borrowing" it for this. It's so interesting to see more of the Beatle's personalities now. They looked like they had so much fun making music. I love listening to the banter.

Ha! I was invited to go to Woodstock with a friend and my parents wouldn't let me go. Just to think, I could have had stories from that.

I loved Get Back for the same reason. Watching Paul and John face each other and create the song as they went, was amazing.

Yes, it seemed like more than anything they were just trying to entertain each other.
