Something I could also add to the downside is that as fast as it is moving forward with amazing things, my brain is slowing down and moving backwards. I know it is part of growing older, but many days I feel like I am getting left behind, eating the dust of those young minds ahead of me. Oh well, I know it is part of the life cycle.

Yes, now I'm understanding better what it must have been like for the older people I knew, how their houses, clothes and mannerisms seemed to be stuck in time. I'm starting to live that reality myself!
Time stops for no one. Either you move forward or you are stuck in a sort of time warp. That is becoming a reality to me, also. I think I am just about burned out with trying to move forward in so many ways. I either don't have the energy or the inclination . . . it seems like it has to stop sometime or at least slow down.
