The question:
29 What’s your favorite color in the Crayola 64-crayon box? If you are super-fancy and sophisticated and use the 150-crayon size box, that’s fine, too. Ya diva.

I don't have the Crayola crayons to look at but I do have the Prismacolor colored pencils and Canary Yellow is my favorite:

I can understand why you started another LJ journal where you feel comfortable writing things you don't want to write anywhere else. I keep those thoughts in my head otherwise I would sound like a 'complainer'.

I like your flower.

Right. Can't be a complainer! Also there are a lot of other thoughts I might not want others to know I'm thinking. Though as I sit down to write there not much is coming out. Ha! Maybe I don't have as many thoughts as I think I do.

I make entries like this and then screen them as "private" so I'm the only one who can read them when I go poking around in my own LiveJournal to reminisce/reflect.

Of course I love this post with some colored pencil art and thoughts on a favorite color!
Nice drawing. :)

I do that too. Sometimes I come back weeks later and make them public when I think no one else is likely to read them. Sometimes after time passes it doesn't seem so important to keep them private anymore.

I came across a LJ lately and I'm not even sure it's real. I was very intrigued by the wild stories this person was telling about their life. If it wasn't real then I imagine they were having a lot of fun making fiction. That is what got me started to want a new LJ. I try hard on egg-shell to "tell the truth", as much of it as I can, without hurting other people. Wouldn't it be fun to just totally make up stories? Or exaggerate, embellish all I want? Not have to keep track of details or facts or make sense of anything? Well, I'll have to see now how much I use it.

Thanks.

Just curious. Do you end up writing in your other "secret" journal very much?

no
since i am the only one there and am unknown
except to one person who does not know me personally
she has been very kind to me
i can express a strong emotion
i don't have to censor myself
i use it when i feel pressured

We have a few in our town. One is very large and old with trees and interesting tombstones. That's the one I like to walk in. But we live in the country and it is a 5 mile drive to town.

I hope it helps - I too struggle with how to reconcile the differing sides of my personality, and hoping that I don't alienate people... I'm too lazy to create another journal, though - so eventually, it all goes into one! :-) *hugs*

Hope you both enjoy the walk.

You alienate people? No way! I am really enjoying your latest writing. You are writing the way I'd like to write.

As it happened we didn't go on a walk. The car wouldn't run to get us there and then my son was concerned with us spreading covid (I truly don't think we have been exposed but he thinks we might have been) and wants us to isolate from the grandboys for a few days. Blaa.

Thank you for saying that. *hugs* I hope I can keep it up.

I hope there will be plenty of nice walks, in your near future!
