Question:
7 Do you prefer shopping online or in a store?Online generally. Most stores don't have all the things I would want. I like to try clothes on before I buy them though so brick and mortar stores for that. And food too - easier to pick it up in a store

Maybe the sun shining on it made it look more blue or purple?

It probably is the light. I can see how the bands would be invisible in shadow, but they were quite clear in your picture.
