Oh wow, I didn't know you were a survivor! My big head shave in 2017 was a fundraiser thing for a local breast cancer support group here. I'm really glad to hear your recovery is going well!

It is going well. I had the mildest form of breast cancer. It was very small when they found it and hadn't spread anywhere thank goodness. I find it hard to think of myself as a "survivor" though. It was unpleasant to go through what needed to be done to get rid of it but I feel like I really dodged a bullet compared to some women. My mother in law in particular. Breast cancer killed her. If I had been like her (and ignored it) I would have ended up like her so I guess I really did "survive"!

Of course you did! My friend Margit also had a 'mild' breast cancer that was easily zapped out with radiation, and she too feels like it was not that big a deal and that she didn't survive anything. But like you said, if left untreated it would have become a life-or-death situation, so you ave definitely a survivor!
