I had x-rays taken of the knee after my doctor's appointment yesterday and got the report from the hospital this morning that they are unremarkable. So now I am looking up soft tissue injury while I wait to hear from the doctor. I am remembering back to last week before this got bad and I was doing a lot of stretching of that knee so I could squat ( Read more... )

When I was young I didn't realize how much self promotion you need to do as an artist, unless you are lucky enough to find someone else to promote you. I'm just too lazy. :-)

So what have they recommended as far as a treatment regimen for the knee? Wishing you good luck with this...

Thanks. Just now got a message back from the doctor's office: "Can start with RICE. If no improvement, can refer to physical therapy for eval and treatment". Anyway, I'm relieved that it isn't anything wrong with the bones or needing surgery - I think I need to be patient now and let it heal.

Yeah. I meant the whole kit and kaboodle. I picked it up on a whim. It was reviewed in a magazine I used to have a subscription to, so I picked it up.

She was kind of a fool to start with. No, nt a fool perse, but someone possessed of a certain naivete. The story certainly had me burning up the page counts. Certainly came out the back side of that story a different person, didn't she?

I'm glad that you have nothing wrong with the bones in your knee. But your body is telling you somethung is wrong. So maybe you did pull a tendon while stretching. You might have to wait until the swelling goes down to do any more serious hiking etc.

I'll have to read that book when I get time!

I'd love to have my young body back again, too.
