snowy and rainy

Easter Sunday evening I had another long(ish - 3 hour) a-fib episode after we had dinner. I look back on it and maybe I can blame the overeating of the big meal, a rich dessert (too much sugar) and drinking an alcoholic root beer (another very sweet thing). I was feeling stuffed and bloated and then the a-fib started. I want to believe that I can ( Read more... )

Thanks. Hiking is my latest passion. I have lost interest in so many of the things I used to do.

It's hard to let go of the foods that I eat for comfort and for excitement - especially now for some reason..

The snow is beautiful, I just think it's enough for this year. I like the fungus on the trees and the green in the water.

God is always with you, so are your guardian angels.

Seems like an extra long winter this year. Nice to see some bright colors even if its just moss.

Hey there, favorite jewelry maker - question - when did you first notice the a-fib episodes? If I recall correctly it was after your surgery and radiation treatment. I'm wondering if there is any connection between the heart issues and those treatments.

I wore your earings today as I hiked with my girlfriend and every time I put them on I think of you. Just saying ...

I started to notice the afib stuff after the radiation. If I had to do radiation again or have a mastectomy I think I'd go with the mastectomy at this point.

Nice...:-)

Yes, but we don't know the ramifications of a mastectomy either. Who knows ... lymph node, muscle problems? Plus, it's surgery so always a risk involved.

Thanks for being upfront. After I posted the question I thought maybe I was a little to forward with the question and almost came back to delete but that's silly too because once it's posted, you see it. Anyway, I always appreciate your candor.

Beautiful! I especially love those snow on conifer pictures...

I always shoot in RAW now. The light isn't always great here, and it's useful to be able to bring out extra detail in the shadows! I have all my basic RAW processing settings saved as a default in Elements, so they are applied automatically - there's just one or two photos that need an additional tweak.

Thanks!

I love your photos and would aspire to do as well as you. Hopefully I will get it figured out how to use RAW ideally (and quickly).
